วัดร่องขุ่น

เป็นวัดพุทธ ตั้งอยู่ที่ อ.เมือง จังหวัดเชียงราย เป็นวัดที่มีความสวยงามมากในแง่ของงานศิลปะ และ ศาสนา เป็นสถานที่เที่ยวยอดนิยมของนักท่องเที่ยว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคนไทย หรือชาวต่างชาติ

จุดกำเนิดของความสวยงามในวัดร่องขุ่น เกิดขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2540 อ.เฉลิมชัย โฆษิตพิพัฒน์ ศิลปินแห่งชาติ ได้เห็นว่าวัดร่องขุ่นได้อยู่ในสภาพทรุดโทรม จึงมีความคิดที่จะสร้างวัดร่องขุ่นขึ้นมาใหม่ โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างมาจาก 3 สิ่งต่อไปนี้

1. ชาติ ด้วยความรักชาติ อ.เฉลิมชัย ตั้งใจทำงานศิลปะเพื่อเป็นสมบัติของแผ่นดิน
2. ศาสนา อุทิศตนเพื่อพระพุทธศาสนา
3. พระมหากษัตริย์ จากการเข้าเฝ้าฯ ถวายงานพระองค์ท่าน ทำให้เกิดความความตื้นตันและสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ

ในตอนแรกเริ่มสร้างขึ้นบนที่ดินเดิมของวัดที่มีเพียง 3 ไร่ ต่อมา อ.เฉลิมชัย และผู้บริจาค ได้ซื้อที่ดินเพิ่มให้กับวัดรวมเป็นมีที่ดินทั้งหมด 12 ไร่ การก่อสร้างนั้น อ.เฉลิมชัย ตั้งใจจะใช้เวลาทั้งชีวิตในการสร้างวัดนี้ จากนั้นให้ลูกศิษย์สานงานที่เหลือต่อจนเสร็จ

ลักษณะเด่นของวัดร่องขุ่นอยู่ที่พระอุโบสถสีขาว ประดับด้วยกระจกแวววาว และลวดลายต่างๆ ซึ่งเป็นงานศิลปะที่ไม่เหมือนที่ไหน ที่ด้านหน้าพระอุโบสถจะมีสะพานที่สื่อถึงการเดินข้ามวัฏสงสารมุ่งสู่พุทธภูมิ และก่อนขึ้นสะพานจะมีครึ่งวงกลมเล็กซึ่งหมายถึงโลกมนุษย์ มีงานศิลปะเป็นรูปมือโผล่มาจากพื้นดิน

สิ่งก่อสร้างที่โดดเด่นรองจากพระอุโบสถสีขาวก็จะเป็นอาคารห้องน้ำสีทอง ตกแต่งด้วยสีทองตั้งแต่หลังคาจนถึงตัวอาคาร เป็นที่ชื่นชอบของนักท่องเที่ยว โดยเฉพาะชาวจีน

ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2557 เกิดแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 6.3 มีศูนย์กลาง อ.พาน จ.เชียงราย วัดร่องขุ่นได้รับความเสียหายมาก ยอดพระธาตุหัก หลักคาแตกหลายจุด ภาพจิตรกรรมมีรอยแตกร้าว มีการซ่อมแซมใหม่ ใช้เวลาไม่ถึงปีวัดร่องขุ่นก็กลับมาสวยงามเหมือนเดิม

At first, it was built on the original land of the temple with only 3 rai. Later, Chalermchai district and the donors bought more land for the temple, totaling 12 rai of land. Intend to spend the whole life building this temple Then have the students continue to do the rest of the work.

The distinctive feature of Wat Rong Khun is the white temple. Decorated with glittering glass And various patterns Which is a work of art unlike any other In front of the chapel is a bridge that conveys the transcendence of the Buddha’s footsteps towards Buddhapoom. And before boarding the bridge there will be a small half circle which means the human world With hand-painted artwork emerging from the ground

In May 2014, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the center of Phan District, Chiang Rai Province. Rong Khun Temple suffered a lot of damage. Several points Painting has cracks There is a new repair. In less than a year, Wat Rong Khun returned to its original beauty.
